2021 NSW Junior Championships

Athletics NSW Junior Championships – SOPAC; 12-14 Mar 2021

Andres represented UTS Norths in the 90m hurdles 76.2cm and the 100m sprint. He also entered in the 200m sprint, but chose not to run on the day.

Result: Gold medal 90m hurdles; Bronze medal 100m sprint.

Andres was selected in the NSW Men U14 4x100m relay team to run at the Australian Track & Field Championship in April.

Andres’s hurdles race was mentioned in the NSW Junior Championships Review on the Athletics NSW website.

Andres set a really good PB and won by nearly 2 seconds.

Andres qualified 4th fastest and then took the bronze medal in an incredibly close final – only 0.02 seconds off first place.
