U15 Boys 300m hurdles (76cm x 7 flight)
Andres has only run the 300m hurdles twice before this race, so wasn’t fully confident about it. He ran a cautious race, but easily won taking half a second off his PB.
Straight final | 43.73; PB | 1st place |
U15 Boys Long Jump
Andres competed in long jump for fun, jumped well short of his PB, but still managed to take 3rd place overall with a jump of 5.46m.
U15 Boys 100m sprint
Andres ran an easy heat to qualify fastest for the final and then set a great new grass PB of 11.65 to take the win.
Heat 2 | 11.93 | Fastest qualifier |
Final | 11.65; PB (grass) | 1st place |
U15 Boys 100m hurdles 76cm
Only the second time Andres has ever run a 76cm 100m hurdles (normally does 84cm hurdles for ANSW/AA events) – he cruised through the event for an easy win.
Straight final | 14.37; PB (grass) | 1st place |
U15 Boys 200m sprint
Andres ran a very comfortable heat to qualify fastest for the final and then ran a great new grass PB in the final but was beaten by his good mate Aiden by only 0.02.
Heat 1 | 24.55 | Fastest qualifier |
Final | 23.99; PB (grass) | 2nd place |
Senior Boys 4x100m relay
Andres ran the anchor leg of the relay and was handed the baton pretty much in the lead at the final change, so the end result was never going to be in doubt – an easy win for the NSLAC team.
Straight final | 49.18 | 1st place |
